Overview

Our practice first opened as Julie Newport Optometrist in 1993. The practice changed its name in 2000 to ICU Optometrist. With this name, we're trying to stress the health aspects of modern optometric practice, while using a short, sharp name that's a play on the words: I See You.

We are acutely aware that with modern eye care, detailed attention to eye health is paramount. We're also acutely aware of trust being a major influence in our patients returning to us and recommending us to their friends. If you don't need glasses, rest assured you won't be getting them.

If you do need glasses, we have an outstanding range, and we want your specs to be the best you've ever had.
We'll also pay careful attention to the finished result.
Your lenses will be thin, light and comfortable and they'll look great on you.
